The Mount Olympus Group of Schools welcomes and congratulates Ms. Vandana Mahajan as the new Principal of Mount Olympus School, Sector 47, Gurugram. A postgraduate in History from Delhi University and with a Master’s in Education from Pune University, Ms. Vandana Mahajan joins us as our flagship school’s new Principal. She comes with an excellent academic record and an impressive professional background of working with prominent schools like Shiv Nadar School Gurgaon, Manav Rachna International School Sector 46, GD Goenka Signature School & the Jain International School Nagpur, in various academic and administrative leadership positions. Ms Mahajan is a passionate educator who is a torchbearer for education which is global, while staying deeply rooted in Indian ethos and value systems. Having worked with diverse curricula straddling CBSE, IGCSE, IBDP as well as ICSE, and experienced regular day schools as well as a full boarding school, she brings both breadth and depth from her 16 years of experience to date. She received the Best Teacher award in 2014-15 from the HRD Ministry and also has an IBDP certification in History. She is a certified NLP practitioner and an Interior Designer as well. Her track record includes being the Centre Superintendent for the CBSE exams and other central exams such as the UPSC, CTET, NDA, HPSC, etc. She has led activities of teacher training, recruitment, admissions and marketing, student and parent counseling, spearheading CSR initiatives and also working closely in designing school policies and curricula. She firmly believes that the purpose of education is to nurture young and susceptible minds into becoming thinking and empathetic individuals, creating awareness about the self, and reinforcing core human values in each individual.  In her leisure time, she loves to read, paint, travel, and listen to music.
